The title of this article is incorrect due to technical limitations. The correct title is SOiL.

SOiL is a five-piece nu metal band from Chicago, formed in 1997. After two rather unsuccessful efforts, they managed to gain international success with their album Scars, with the help of singles like Halo or Unreal, bearing their distinctive and harsh, but also very emotional and melodic sound.

In 2004, singer Ryan McCombs announced a departure from the band; NYased new vocalist AJ Cavalier was introduced on November 15, 2004

On July 20, 2005, McCombs was confirmed to be the new singer for Drowning Pool.
